Individual Therapy
This is a form of therapy where the patient is treated on a one-on-one basis with the therapist. The most popular forms of therapy include psychoanalysis and cognitive behavioral therapy, but may include many other styles of treatment. Individual therapy allows the therapist and the patient to focus on each other, build a rapport, and work together to solve the patient’s issues.
Family Therapy
This is a form of psychotherapy that seeks to reduce distress and conflict by improving the systems of interactions between family members. It is an ideal counseling method for helping family members adjust to an immediate family member struggling with an addiction, medical issue or mental health diagnosis. It is also recommended for improving communication and reducing conflict.
Anger Management
This is a goal-oriented therapeutic strategy that targets the emotional response to external factors that cause anger. The goal of anger management therapy is to help individuals express their feelings and needs in an assertive and appropriate way, identify solutions that are likely to upset them, so they can be emotionally prepared and recognize when they aren’t thinking logically.
Marriage/Couples Therapy Counseling
Involves both members of a couple meeting with a psychotherapist to help develop insight and resolve problems in relating to each other, thereby strengthening their relationship or if in the best interest, helping them separate in a collaborative and healthy way.
Crisis Intervention
This is an immediate and short-term psychological care aimed at assisting individuals in a crisis situation in order to restore equilibrium to their bio-psycho-social functioning and to minimize the potential of long-term psychological trauma. Crisis situations can arise due to a number of reasons and can lead to situations where the individual can become a harm to themselves or others.
Parenting Support
This is a type of service that aims to provide the necessary knowledge, tools, guidance, and most especially support to parents without bias or judgment so that they can be fully equipped to care for their children. Parenting therapy offers modalities that help parents gain a better understanding of their parenting style, face and eventually conquer personal issues, and restore the family, bringing back harmony and peace in the household.
